Do I need an accountant?
You don't need an accountant. But if you have one, it makes it even easier for them — Bookfolio hands them clean books at year end so they can focus on advice, not bookkeeping.
Can I connect HMRC?
Yes. HMRC connections are included for supported workflows. Limited Company does not include personal Self Assessment.
What about Corporation Tax?
The Limited Company price covers company bookkeeping and reporting foundations. CT600 filing is handled separately when that workflow is ready.
Can I import bank transactions automatically?
Yes. Direct bank feeds are included in both paid entity types. CSV import remains available for banks or historical data that need it.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. 30 days, no card required. After that billing starts from the active books in your workspace, or the workspace is locked until billing is current. Every book stays read-only and nothing is deleted.
Where's my data stored?
On UK servers in Google Cloud's London region. We encrypt at rest and in transit, and we keep the audit trail of every change to every transaction.
